Return Policy

Each Little Wild Terrarium is a living artwork. While plants shift and grow naturally, I want you to feel confident in your purchase. If something isn’t right, here’s how we’ll make it right together.

🌱 Eligibility Window

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase: if all condition requirements are met, then you are eligible for a full refund
  • After 7 days, I offer a refresh service – I’m happy to help revive your terrarium and provide care advice, rather than a refund

🌿 Condition Requirements

  • Terrariums must have been cared for according to the Care Guide
  • Natural changes—such as leaf shedding, moss settling, or plant growth—are part of the ecosystem and not considered faults
  • Custom commissions and workshop pieces are non‑returnable, unless faulty
  • I do not offer returns for change of mind, accidental damage or unwanted gifts, or terrariums that have not been cared for according to the Care Guide

🐛 Living Ecosystem Disclaimer

  • Each terrarium includes a cleanup crew (springtails, isopods) to keep the ecosystem healthy (for more info see Care Guide)
  • These creatures are harmless and intentional—they are not grounds for return

🚚 Return Process

  1. Contact us within the return window (i.e. within 7 days) with photos and description of what is happening
  2. Returns must be made in person: unfortunately I cannot accept shipped terrariums, as they are too fragile to be posted
  3. Arrange a local drop‑off or pickup in Castlemaine (at present, my health limits how far I can travel, but I’d be delighted to come pick up your terrarium within a 10min drive of central Castlemaine, or we can meet at Hargreaves St entrance to Western Reserve)
  4. Once received, I’ll process your full refund within 5 business days

🌳Beyond the Return Window

  • If your terrarium struggles after the 7‑day period, I invite you to bring it back for a refresh service
  • I’ll trim, rebalance, and advise on care so your ecosystem can thrive again

⚖️ Consumer Rights

This policy operates alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for faulty goods.

Your terrarium is living art, with imperfections and changes that are part of its story. I honour what I craft, and will always work with you to ensure your tiny forest continues to bring calm and joy.
